Mermaid + Me is part of the cosmetic group of Invincible Brands, creating #mermazing haircare cosmetics from ocean secrets and mother nature.

This is a special launch for summer season of a limited edition product that can naturally lighten your hair tone with yuzu lemon as main ingredient.

 

BRIEFING:

As a limited edition, it should definitely look different from the standard, permanent lines, yet still on brand and recognizable as a Mermaid + Me product.

The previous launch was also a summer edition, a co-creation with a brand ambassador and influencer, and it was a request from the Brand Management Team to keep a visual connection between the two lines, although different enough to be certain they are not part of the same launch.

 

OUTCOME:

I kept the colour palette from the summer co-creation: white, black, and lemon yellow for that connection. Montserrat is the brand font and it's styled bold and on capital letters to provide that clear, outstanding look of a limited edition.

I played with that yellow lemon shape in a minimalist composition to set the mood and tone of bright and fresh summer days.

I designed Master Stories Templates using Keynote for the Content Creation team to use for different topics like Promotion, Interaction with the Community, or product Education regarding benefits and ingredients. It included some videos and animations when a bit of dynamism was needed.

Fresh, bold, clear, summery, yet still on brand keeping font styling and general composition aesthetics from Mermaid + Me.
